System Introduction & Overview

The facility scheduling system is designed so that users can submit requests via the internet. Space approvers get an email directing them to approve the space(s) via an approval screen.

There can be up to three layers of approvers for the school site. For example, think of a field scenario where the school secretary and PE coach both get an email requesting site approval. When they approve it, the system sends an email to the school's principal for final site approval. Upon the final site approval, an email is sent to the Facility Use Office for processing, district approval, and eventual billing.
